Grown-up and Me Weaving

This class is designed for a grown-up and child to do three weaving projects together — a circular loom, nature weaving, and llama-inspired activity. Participants will use a variety of materials including yarn, wool locks, recycled clothing, and ribbons for beautiful results. Discussion will emphasize the benefits of weaving activities on enhancing brain development and fine motor skills. The target age for children in this class is four to ten, though younger children may need more assistance from the adult attending with them.

Material fee includes: Yarn and supplies to make the three looms. If a grown-up and child are working together on the weavings, the fee is $5.00. If they are each making three weavings, it is $5.00 each.

Class Time: Saturday, March 11th, 9am-12pm
Materials Fee: $5
Teacher: Janel Franks and Amanda Bullion
