Peg Loom Weaving

$35.00

Have you ever wanted to learn how to weave like our ancestors did? Try peg loom weaving – a highly portable and ancient form of weaving that requires no tension on the loom! During the class, students will learn how to warp, begin and continue weaving, along with finishing out an 8” trivet, and will then begin an 18” square seat cushion using washed wool locks and roving. Students will be able to choose from multiple sheep breeds for their project, including Shave Em to Save Em endangered breeds to earn passport stickers.

If you have a peg loom, please bring one. Otherwise, looms will be available for purchase.

The material fee includes warp and fiber to complete an 18″ square seat cushion and an 8″ trivet.

Class Time: Friday, March 10th, 9am-12pm
Materials Fee: $150
