Preparing a Fleece

Join me for this fun class! Take a look in your fiber stash and grab a fleece you have been wanting to process.  We will learn how to skirt a fleece together, wash it, pick it, card it, and spin it.  We will take a look at different fiber types (alpaca, wool, and angora) and explore how to best use them in the fiber arts.  The tour will take place in my own cottage-style fiber mill in Yorktown, Indiana.  I look forward to sharing my fiber processing knowledge and tips with you!

A raw fleece is recommended.
