Hand Hooked & Proddy Cone Flower OR Daizy Mat (or pillow)

This is a great opportunity to learn three different creative rug making techniques in one class.  In this workshop you will explore the differences between hand hooked, Proddy and Waldoboro and how they can be used together to create beautiful textile art.  This class is geared toward beginner/intermediate levels, but all are welcome.

This class combines centuries old traditions to create modern art, for a fun experience.  This project will not be completed in the time given for the class, but you will be taught the skills it will take to finish this project on your own as well as the confidence that you can make larger projects in the future.

Materials fee includes:

Hand drawn 7” x 11” pattern on linen backing, pattern stretched over a wooden stretcher frame, all wool pre-cut for the project + wool for prodding, hook, printout for you take home as a guide, color photo of finished project, notebook and pen.  Tracy will also give her contact information to all students, if there are any questions after class.
