Learn to Ply Using an Andean Plyer

Want to use up all the singles you spin? Want to easily ply to sample your yarn before you spin up a bunch of fiber? Just want to learn another way to ply? This class is for you!

Andean plying is a very old plying technique traditionally done by wrapping your singles around your hand, then you ply them together. However, in this class You will use a wooden handmade plying tool to learn the technique. Sarah has developed an easy way to remember the wrapping technique so you will master the plying technique in the class!

Students should bring: Spinning wheel and 2-3 bobbins of spun singles – either your default spin or other (for example, art yarn).
